Judikaela Auffrédou has been promoted to Vice-President, Strategy, and Richard Bélanger to Vice-President, Design. These appointments are in keeping with the growth and development of the agency’s strategy and creative communities.

Judikaela Auffrédou, VP Strategy

Since she joined Cossette in 2017, Judikaela has accompanied organizations like VIA Rail, Tourisme Montréal, Destination Canada, and Perfetti Van Melle in their strategic planning processes. She sets herself apart through her human and data-centric approach to resolving business challenges, thereby creating more relevant and influential brands. In her new position, Judikaela will help shape well-designed initiatives for Cossette’s strategy community, as well as play a pivotal role for specific clients, including Bombardier Recreational Products and Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec.
“Judikaela has always demonstrated a strong ability to fuel the agency’s strategic and creative product. She remains constantly open and curious when it comes to the different areas of strategic expertise and the synergy between them, which is essential to our practice evolution. Her leadership skills also make her the ideal manager to move our community forward,” explained Michel-Alex Lessard, Chief Strategy Officer at Cossette.
“These are exciting times at Cossette—several changes are taking place to allow the agency to continue to reinvent itself, but above all to leverage our collaborative approach between the different areas of strategic expertise,” Judikaela noted. “I’m very excited to invest my time and energy in our people to give them the proper tools and help them get to where they want to be. This is what will make our community stronger.”

Richard Bélanger, VP Design

Cossette will now be able to count on Richard to lead the design community. Over the last 20 years, he’s demonstrated his impeccable sense of design and impressive knack for combining creative success with positive business outcomes. What’s more, his work has garnered attention in the industry—both local and international—and continues to rank highly in design competitions.
Since joining Cossette in 2013, his expertise has benefitted a variety of branding and transformation projects for the likes of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, La Presse, Just For Laughs, MTELUS, Bombardier, and the BAnQ. Moving forward, Richard will be responsible for ensuring the agency’s design and branding vision permeates all the brands Cossette collaborates with.
“Richard’s unique style and artistic ability are invaluable to Cossette’s creative community. Not only does he take a holistic approach to design, he also understands that the field is evolving, and today’s brands must be relatable and in constant motion,” stated Louis-Philippe Tremblay and Anne-Claude Chénier, Co-executive Creative Directors at Cossette.
“I’m thrilled to tackle this new challenge—design is one of Cossette’s major strengths on the international stage. I’m fortunate to work with a fearless team that believes in the importance of designing and developing intelligent brands that can be deployed and appreciated in any context,” said Richard.
