Plus Company elevates two Canadian leaders

Mélanie Dunn promoted to President of Plus Company Canada Joseph Leon named new Chair of Innovation Group

Quebec City, QC, May 2, 2022 – Founded in September 2021 with more than 3,000 employees, across 12 countries in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, Plus Company is an alliance of creative, media, and PR agencies representing a new model for interagency teamwork.

Today, it is announcing new responsibilities within its leadership team that will work to drive growth benefitting employees and clients. Mélanie Dunn is being promoted to President of Plus Company Canada and Joseph Leon is being named Chair of the Innovation Group of companies.  “Today we are recognizing Mélanie and Joseph, exceptional leaders who have successfully led our agencies, teams and clients through transformative times and who will continue to grow and shape the future of our business,” said Brett Marchand, CEO of Plus Company.  “We are working to foster greater collaboration while harnessing the full potential of tech-enabled creativity, data, performance, and digital media to better serve our clients’ needs as we look to the future.”

Mélanie Dunn, who has been instrumental in leading Cossette to its most successful years in recent history, is being promoted to President of Plus Company Canada. In addition to retaining her responsibilities as CEO of Cossette, she will be responsible for all creative, specialty, media, and production agencies in Canada, with a strong focus on the growth of their people and the success of their clients.

Plus Company is creating a new role within its leadership team for Joseph Leon, who will now focus on developing new capabilities to help grow the global network. He will lead the Innovation Group of companies, which includes All Inclusive Marketing (AIM), Impact Research, Magnet and PathIQ, and build new data, technology, performance, and digital media products for Plus Company globally. “Plus Company is a new model for agency networks, and a home for entrepreneurs and innovators,” says Joseph Leon, Chair of the Innovation Group. “This structural investment will help sustain a strategic innovation agenda across our network, ultimately empowering our regions and agencies with additive and compelling capabilities.”Joseph Leon has led the rapid growth of Plus Company’s media group to become one of the leading independents in the world while developing new performance and data offerings.
